Kerrytown
I am so excited to introduce you to my latest pattern! Meet Kerrytown, named after the Historic Kerrytown district in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The Design:
Kerrytown is a 3/4 sleeve, drop shoulder sweater. It features cables running up the center front, allover interrupted garter ridges, and an uneven split hemline. The design is knit flat in pieces and seamed at the shoulders. The sleeves are then picked up and worked outward from the body.
It has a modern, youthful feel and was designed to fit with several inches of positive ease in the bust and fitted sleeves making it flattering on all body types!
The sleeve length and hemline are easily adaptable.
The Yarn:
Knit up in Brooklyn Tweed Arbor yarn. This American sourced, spun, and dyed wool yarn is a springy 3 ply DK weight worsted spun yarn in a gorgeous array of colors! Knit up it creates a dense fabric with a nice drape and gorgeous stitch definition.
