Beach Life is the perfect crisp and cozy sweater for layering on a trip to the beach! New England beaches can be breezy and cool and I wanted a simple cotton pullover to wear for bonfires and dog walks on the beach; Beach Life is the end result! The sweater features an oversized, boxy body with a split, uneven hemline. The sweater is knit in reverse stockinette and features some ribbing up the center-front that splits for the V neckline. Knit up in Valley Yarns Hawley yarn, it is quick to knit and the cotton/ silk blend makes it perfect for spring-fall weather!

• Valley Yarns Hawley yarn (DK weight, 50% cotton, 30% silk, 20% nylon, 50g per 135 yards) in Sandstone color
• Approximately 880 (975, 1080, 1190) (1290, 1380, 1495, 1595) yards / 805 (892, 988, 1088) (1180, 1262, 1367, 1458) meters
• OR 7 (8, 8, 9) (10, 11, 12, 12) skeins

Gauge:
• 20 sts and 24 rows over 4” / 10 cm in stockinette st worked flat, blocked

Needles:
• Size 5 (3.75 mm) 24-40” / 60-101.5 cm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
• Additional gauge-size needles in your preferred method of small circumference knitting for the sleeves.
