Playwright is a romantic pullover with intricate colorwork patterns worked on the yoke and sleeves. This design was inspired by fancy Shakespearean era blouses. The cropped body length makes Playwright perfect for layering over flowy dresses and the wide puff sleeves give it an extra feminine, free-spirited feel. Knit up in Kelbourne Woolens Scout yarn for the body and Woolfolk Flette boucle yarn for the colorwork, there is a subtle difference in texture adding to the whimsy of the design.

Gauge:
• 17 sts and 23 rows over 4”/10 cm in stockinette st worked in the round and blocked
Needles:
• Size 7 (4.5 mm) 16-40” / 40-101.5 cm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge, and additional needle of the same size for your pre- ferred method of small circumference knitting (9”/ 23 cm circular, 2-circulars, DPNs or Magic Loop) for the sleeves and cuffs
• Suggest sizing up 1 or 2 size needles for color- work section for even tension
